if something was changed. Also, make sure that when you connect, it is through their router and not some other nearby signal that's stronger. If it's in any way possible, try another laptop there...maybe a friends...and see if you can log into your account. If you can't, you've just about ruled out your laptop as being the culprit.

The place is the coffee shop at a Hastings book store. I am positive I am trying to connect through their wifi connection. The trying on another laptop is a great suggestion and I will try. It's odd that i had been using it with no problem then snap, all this. I'll let you know if this is resolved. thanks again.
